Firstly, the concept is great. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while. Browsing the website is a great experience, and so easy, it’s such a user friendly platform. I particularly like the wish list function. A breath of fresh air! Secondly, Amie and James are an absolute pleasure to deal with, their passion is infectious and that coupled with their musical knowledge makes for something really special. They curated a mystery box for me and I couldn’t be happier. The records arrived clean, and well packaged, they even went to the trouble of writing a personal note summarising the music they selected for me. I'm so glad I found Wax Merchant, I am a massive vinly lover and spend hours in Bristol crate digging but have never really bought much online. But then Wax Merchant started and I love the way you can crate dig and listen to the tunes before you buy them.
