He's a vital veteran who continues to contribute, but for this EP, he digs into the archives for a 12" reissue of a Motor City classic that was originally released in the early 2000s on his Teknotika label. The first mix of 'Pimping People In High Places' rocks back and forth on its heels with an incendiary promise that keeps you on edge. The album mix is a lithe and nimble techno sound with eerie futurism in the searching pads and the closing Woodward Ave mix is deeper, dubber, scruffier. A real classic.
